Straight Axle / Gasser
Nose up, front wheels out front, blower through the hood.
Gasser class rules from the late fifties and sixties pushed cars toward a straight front axle, a jacked nose and as much motor as would fit. The look outlived the class by sixty years. Done properly it is a real chassis job — axle location, steering geometry and driveshaft angle all move together. Done badly it is a car that will not go where you point it. Plan the whole thing before you cut anything.
